Phage therapy: combating antibiotic-resistant bacteria with viruses

Pseudomonas has become more sensitive to traditional antibiotics. This is one of the reasons why Yale researchers and Yale Medicine physicians are working together to help patients with personalized medicine based on bacteriophages. The FDA can approve phage therapy for patients with multi-drug resistant infections on a case-by-case basis.
